Beyond the gardens lurks a moody monster,
a monster sometimes angered, sometimes calm,
a monster rising and then falling back,
a monster that sustains while it destroys,
a monster guarding depths as yet unknown,
a monster deep, mother of mysteries,
the dark and mighty nemesis of Earth,
avenging our ill-treatment of the planet.
Beyond the gardens lies the end of England.
I like this – assume the monster is the sea? Since I missed the meeting I wonder if I’m right since it was a debated item.
Yes Adele you are right. Jonathan had to confirm it for some of us, who were a little bit slow on the uptake 🙂
