You have to have a dream,
for it is the dream
which will sustain you
in the bad days
when darkness descends
and the dark, it seems,
has no edges.
You have to have a dream,
for it is the dream
which gives you purpose,
drives the hard work
which is necessary
to make the dream come true.
And when you get to live the dream
you must be grateful,
for it is that gratitude
which allows you
to put in the effort
which keeps the dream alive.
