READING THE LANDSCAPE: UNCOVERING MYSTERIES OF THE MOORS & COAST
Jane has walked the moors and coast for years and discovered many fascinating features – she draws on her vast historical knowledge to work out what they are and the social history around them. She will be talking about Old maps, Old photos, Old roads (including bridleways, footpaths, turnpike roads, lime roads, timber roads, fish roads, Roman roads, etc), Inscribed stones, Rutways, Railways/tramways, Mining, quarrying, Signs of past industries, Springs/wells, Looking up and looking down… and more!!
The talk is £5 entry (including refreshments) and is run by 3-Minute Arts CIC.
