Crap, no tea again!
What’s happened up ahead?
Incident on the line –
could be points failure
could also be suicide
sends shivers down my spine

Will John remember to feed the cat?
Wish I’d charged my phone
always in a bloody rush
How long before I get home?
You kids will be raising Hell
Hope Pen hasn’t lost her key again
or there’ll be trouble with Isobel.
Please try not to kill each other
at least till I get home again!
The silence here is deafening.
This dull orange glow within
and an eerie fog waits outside
cocooning this carriage, and me, still lingering.
