Ian [Anitra’s Petition] — Still at the Gaiascope in central Jordvik, Anitra and Nanoud decide to bathe in the fountains. They attract the attention of the two young Martian visitors introduced earlier. Back in the changing rooms Nanoud regrets the encounter, telling Anitra she had in-effect told the son of the Goubernator that she was one of the Stellans, which could have untold ramifications.
Pip [Caicos Moon] — Working for Liam, who ran Caicos Holdings, our heroine takes time to type the perfect letter. Junior begins breaking-in the new horse Nimrod. Hurricane Inez passes them by.
Adele — read a poem: Woodland Wanderings, about young love at Falling Foss.
Jonathan — revealed how in 1875 the Croquet Club was short of money and thought to promote the new sport of tennis with an event which let to the birth of Wimbledon as we know it.
